Strange Lights

I came here to lie down
And close my dark and tired eyes
Oh these strange yellow lights
And death so close again
Dark coffee, roses and swans
Every God damn thing will find its place
We age along with time
But our eyes remain the same
When I see you
The Rain feels good again
When I see you
Blood runs through my veins again
When I see you
Riots in the streets begin

Silent Waves

I woke here to find you
shaped like silent waves
that hit the shore
You're like sedatives
you're like sedatives
for long winter nights
Sometimes I ask you:
”Why is this room
full of ghosts and books?”
But I like it here,
I guess I like it here
At least there's music in the air.
You never ran away
despite my great black walls
I guess you like it here
At least there's music in the air.

On the first day
we saw the beauty of the crooked hills
On the second day
the humid air stuck to our skin
On the third day
the night was silent, there were wolves in the dark
On the fourth day
The Atlantic Ocean was fighting the rain
On the fifth day
The streets were covered in hospital yellow
On the sixth day
the castle on the mountain disappeared in the fog
On the seventh day
the rain was too heavy for the streets to remain
for the streets not to go insane
